Just an Old T-Shirt...

When I came across this great tutorial at delia creates I knew I had to make some of these knit t-shirt produce bags. I just love them!! Armed with an old t-shirt, scissors, and a working sewing machine (mine's been broken for a while now) I started on my first bag. I made this one out of an old soft grey t-shirt and am loving it. Now I just need to find a few more t-shirts to use....

What are your plans for the weekend? Maybe a t-shirt produce bag! I know I'll be looking for another t-shirt or two to use...

Hope you have a great weekend!

All Seasons :: Nashville, TN

I finally got a chance to stop in All Seasons Garden & Brewing Supply Co. on 8th Avenue South in Nashville. I drive by them all the time and have wanted to stop in for the longest time. I finally stopped by to pick up some potting soil and boy was I surprised when I walked inside! This lovely shop has everything you could think of for gardening and brewing along with so many fun items. I felt like a kid in a candy store! I had such a great time looking at all the different items they had and couldn't believe how much there is inside and out. These are rustic textured pots, colorful and fun birdhouses hanging from suspended branches above, little ceramic birds and so many unique gift items. One of my favorite finds was the birdhouse outside with succulents planted on the roof! And the last picture on the left, do you know what those are? Bee Houses! I've never seen one of these before. Is that what we need for the garden? They are filled with bamboo and attract non-stinging Mason bees. Mason bees are slightly smaller than honey bees and are incredible pollinators.

Do you have a bee house near your garden?
